Terms of Service

1. Who we are
TradeRanked ("we", "us", "our") provides a software-as-a-service tool that publishes before/after photos of completed tradesperson jobs as Google-indexed web pages. The service is operated from the United Kingdom.
2. Your account
You must be 18 or older to register. You're responsible for keeping your password secure and for everything that happens under your account. Tell us at once if you suspect your account is compromised.
3. What you upload
By uploading photos and other content, you confirm that:
- You own the photos or have permission to use and publish them.
- You have the customer's permission to publish job photos that depict identifiable people or property (use our Consent flow at /c/<token> for this).
- You're not uploading anything illegal, defamatory, or that infringes someone else's rights.
You keep ownership of everything you upload. You grant us a worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, display, format, and distribute your content as part of the service — including on your public profile, job result pages, search engines, and social previews.
4. Payment
Paid plans are billed via Stripe. Monthly plans renew monthly until cancelled. Annual plans renew annually. You can cancel any time from /app/billing — cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period; we don't pro-rate refunds for partial periods on monthly plans.
4.1 Refund policy
- Annual plans: under UK distance-selling rules, you have 14 days from purchase to cancel for a pro-rated refund (less any usage beyond a reasonable trial).
- Monthly plans: no refunds for partial months. Cancel any time; access continues to the end of the current period.
- Clear billing errors or platform bugs: contact us at hello@traderanked.co.uk and we'll make it right.
4.2 Price changes
We may raise prices for new customers at any time. Existing customers are grandfathered at the price they signed up at. If we ever need to migrate an existing customer to a new price, we'll give at least 30 days' notice by email.
5. What we provide
We aim to keep the service available 24/7 but don't guarantee uninterrupted access. We may release updates, change features, or remove features at our discretion. If we make a major change that materially reduces what you get for what you pay, we'll let you know and you can cancel for a refund.
6. Acceptable use
Don't use TradeRanked to:
- Publish content that's misleading, illegal, abusive, or that breaches a third party's rights
- Pose as a tradesperson you're not, or list someone else's work as your own
- Spam, scrape, or attempt to disrupt the service
- Resell or sub-license access to multiple businesses under one account
We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these rules.
7. Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim related to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim. We're not liable for indirect, consequential, or business loss (e.g. lost profits, lost leads).
Nothing in these terms limits liability for death, personal injury caused by our negligence, or fraud.
8. Termination
You can close your account any time. We can suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms. On termination, we'll delete your data within 30 days unless we're required by law to retain it.
9. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We'll email registered users about any material change at least 30 days before it takes effect. Continued use after the change means you accept the new terms.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Disputes that can't be resolved amicably go to the courts of England and Wales.
